When asked to describe our recent client, R, Finishing Touch members were quick to use the word “joyful”. He has a wonderful relationship with the Lord and it shows - he is a grateful, happy man who loves to share the Gospel with everyone he meets.
We came to know R through a referral from The Hope Center. We were grateful and happy to assist R, a disabled veteran, in furnishing his new apartment. He loves the Dallas Cowboys and the Houston Astros, so we had fun gathering some team items to put a smile on his face. He was most excited, though, about a brand new bed for a good night’s sleep. “In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.” Psalm 4:8
